Refund & Return Policy

Purchases made on ship to the contiguous United States only. If you live outside the lower 48 (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or an international territory) and want to purchase a Pedaltrain product, contact us and we will direct you to a dealer in your area.

We cannot ship to a freight forwarder, and do our best to filter these orders when they are placed. Products inadvertently fulfilled to a freight forwarder with a final destination outside the continental United States are not eligible for returns, exchanges, and all warranties are void.

You must be available to sign for purchases that are shipped signature required. FedEx will make multiple attempts to deliver your package to receive your signature and deliver your package. Purchases that are refused, or those that cannot be delivered, will be returned to our warehouse. In this situation, your purchase will be refunded, less our original shipping costs.

10 Days

Generally speaking, purchases made at are eligible for return within ten (10) days of the item's delivery. Returned goods must be received in perfect, unused condition in original packaging with all original tags attached. The cost of returning products is the sole responsibility of the sender, and will not be reimbursed.

Guitar effects pedals and electronic devices are not eligible for returns (all sales final).


  1. Contact Pedaltrain for return authorization
  2. Ship the package to us using the method you deem best (UPS, USPS, FED EX, etc).  This expense will not be reimbursed.
  3. Ship your items back to Pedaltrain as directed
  4. Your items will be inspected
  5. If approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, less our original shipping expense to you.

If returned items are deemed to be fraudulent in nature, we will notify you and the items will be destroyed/recycled. Shipping expense will not be refunded. Sorry to even have to say this, but it happens.


Return Authorization: Your item will receive an RMA number unique to you.  This helps us track your package internally.  Please, do not return items without an RMA number.

Return Shipping: It is your responsibility to ship the items to us.  Be advised that shipping large items can be expensive.

Original Shipping: If a refund is approved we deduct our original shipping expense from the refund amount.

Restocking Fee: We want you to love your Pedaltrain product, so we don't charge a restocking fee. However, it's your responsibility to ship the item back to us in perfect, unused, condition.  We reserve the right to reject items that are used, abused, destroyed, intentionally damaged, fraudulent, etc.

NotificationsYour item will be inspected quickly, and if we have any questions or concerns we will contact you. Proof of purchase or other identification may be required to process a return. You will receive system notifications when your refund is processed.

Refund Processing: We will issue a refund to the original form of payment only. Refunds are usually issued within one business day of receiving the returned item. The system will notify you when your refund is processed.

Refunds usually clear the banking system quickly, but it can take up to 30 days for a refund to clear. If you think your refund is late or missing it is likely in-process. If you think your refund is missing, please first check your bank account or contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable): 
Closeouts, B-stock, blemished and discount items are sold as-is and not eligible for return or exchange.

Exchanges: We are unable to offer an exchange service at this time. Should you want to exchange an item, simply return the original item for a refund. You may purchase the replacement at your convenience, before or after you receive your refund. 

Gifts: If you received the item item as a gift, and would like a store credit instead of a refund to the original form of payment, please contact us with the order details and we'll work to help make it happen.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return, less shipping expense. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he or she will find out about your return.

Other: If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Our preferred shippers are FedEx Ground and UPS - they are reliable, offer tracking, and convenient locations around the USA.

Mail Fraud: We prosecute mail fraud 100% of the time. False or misleading claims of missing packages will be prosecuted. Sorry to even have to say this, but it happens.

If You Received Incorrect or Incomplete Product

If you received the wrong product or are missing something from your order, please contact us.  We will make it right.  Let us know what went wrong.  Please include your order number and a picture, which will help us resolve your issue quickly. We will move mountains to set things right.
